Some time in the future when the Covid-19 lockdown has been relaxed enough to allow small theatres to open to the public again and Lou is determined that the Winterbourne Players will be the first group in the country to put on a show. Whilst she recognises the importance and credo that this will bring to this small but enthusiastic group, the opportunity of an award, or even a “damehood”, has not been lost on her as the leader of the group.

So, we are backstage before commencing opening night with a group of people with little time to prepare and who were not learning their lines during the lockdown. If you have ever wondered what goes on backstage before a show starts, then this is fairly typical. If you're a normal person, you'll be wondering how long it is until the interval when you can get back to the bar.
